Anyway Food For Thought gives part of their profit to charity to help the underprivileged kids. Like sponsoring their tuition fees, providing clean water etc etc. Sounds great right? You get to enjoy your food AND help charity at the same time. Awesome ~~~
Almost everyone is raving about that place and so after making many MANY wrong turns and getting really irritated with each other, we finally reached the place!

Warm and homely cafe ~~

Pumpkin soup. Ive always loved anything with pumpkin but this just tasted TOTALLY BLAND.....

Pesto chicken pasta. I LOVE pesto but man... it was BLAND BLAND BLAND VERY BLAND!!! The salad which came by the side was much tastier than the pasta but also not nice to eat....

Junyi's bratwurst sandwich. It was just filled with sausages and some kind of sauce which doesnt look appetising at all....
WHAT A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Had no mood to even try their desserts after that. Everything just tasted so cheap and BLAND (how many times have I used that word already?) Walked out and told myself "ITS FOR CHARITY!" Ok..... if Im EVER gonna step back into that cafe, it would be soley for their red velvet cake. Well well, brownie points for having free flow of tap water though hahahha.
Sunday brunch with my mum and sister at Wild Honey today. Waited MORE than an hour for our seats but it was worth it! Pleasant place which serves all-day breakfast in different countries' styles. From english to japanese to italian to mexican and the list goes on!!!

Mandarin wilderness mocktail. Its raspberry, mandarin and honey ice blended. First few sips tasted really nice cos of the honey drizzled on top and I liked the distinctive mandarin taste. And it wasnt too sweet! Just nice. I hate drinks that are overly sweet.
See the donut behind? Its filled with raspberry jelly and coated with sugar and cinnamon. Everyone should stop eating J-Co or whatever donut chain they have here cos its BULLSHIT. This donut beats it all HANDS DOWN. You want the real deal? Krispy Kremes is IT. Im dying for them to set up an outlet in sg!!!! I refuse to eat JCO cos I tried them once last time and it honestly SUCKED.

Look at my teeny weeny eyes. I was shagged out.

Mum's Tunisian brekkie. Tomato stew in a sizzling pan of eggs and chorizo sausages, served with thick toasted bread, bursting with flavour! I liked it but my mum didnt :( She said it tasted really cheap :(

My sister's Scandinavian brekkie. Grilled Norwegian salmon fillet, green asparagus and slightly burnt potato rosti tasted perfect altogether.

I have this craze for Eggs Benedict and set my mind on having the European styled breakfast even before stepping into the place hehehe. Poached eggs wrapped in strips of prosciutto ham, bedded on sauteed field mushrooms and fluffy country toast. The combination was SO GOOD especially when I poked through the eggs and the yolks were all runny! Swiped my toast through the yellow yolks and MAMA MIA! Very yummy. HOWEVERRRR, 6th Avenue still serves the best eggs benny to me. Somewhere along Old Brown Shoe. Really damn nice cos of Hollandaise sauce and the blueberry milkshake is yummmzz!!! TOTALLY TO-DIE-FOR.
Would definitely go back to try another breakfast style and their pan-fried GOAT CHEESE salad! Yes, GOAT CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Slurp slurp slurp!
Madam Saigon for dinner with my dad a few days back. I can NEVER get enough of good vietnamese food.

Had my usual PHO (will never miss out on that!!!), assorted meat skewers barbecued to PERFECTION - soft tender and SUPER JUICY, 3 different types of salad, vietnamese springroll and heres something new that we decided to try... Sugar cane prawn! Its minced prawn on jumbo sugar cane sticks. Like instead of using satay sticks they used sugar cane! Doesnt look nice but its damn fragrant! I LIKE.
I dont get why the restaurant is always soooo empty when they serve really awesome food. Everyone should go try!!!!! Its at Millenia Walk :)

Crystal jade with mummy. Had the normal and average chinese food but this is my FAVOURITE dish there. Chinese spinach with century eggs, salted eggs and normal eggs. Hhahaha so many eggs thats why I love it heheheheh.
